A fascinating exploration in sampling and the extremes you can take them. From a sound designer perspective, this record is such a fun and rewarding listen that feels nostalgic in a purgatory-like way. Some highlights: the Taylor swift sample with bubblegum instrumentation on “Pop Chin”, also the use of Ariana Grande’s “Ghostin” on “Someone In The Room” is stellar. So glad I purchased the vinyl pressing. kicksinsound
